“Do it for the gram” is a popular saying heard nowadays. Everyone takes pictures of their food or takes pictures at an “Instagram worthy” place. It is one of the best social media platforms to get yourself or your products out there. In a couple of pictures or a short video, thousands of people can get a quick glimpse of who you are or what you’re selling. If someone is on their phone, they are usually checking Instagram at some point. It is the hub of all things popular at the moment.




 If I were to market a product, I would choose charcoal toothpaste. Charcoal is very on trend right now with things like ice cream, mud masks, and toothpaste. The toothpaste is also effective in whitening teeth. I would get opinion leaders to talk about my product by giving them samples and asking them to incorporate it into their daily routine and make a time-lapse video. In addition, using before and after examples would show the validity of the product.

 I would also use hashtags to create buzz for the toothpaste. #dirtytoclean #blacktowhite #charcoalonyourgrill #MichaelJackson is attention-grabbing and may even be controversial, but they will definitely get the toothpaste talked about. Any publicity is good publicity because even if it is bad, it is still the topic of conversation.
